- A: Hello Eugene. We are sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing with your 60V Mower. There are a few reasons this may happen. [1] The newer design lawn mowers have a built-in safety switch at the bottom of the handle. If the handle is not locked in place properly the mower will not start or stall out after a few seconds. [2] Battery aliment. Check that the battery is correctly connected to the battery compartment. Open the battery door. Align the ribs on the battery with the grooves in the battery compartment. Push the battery into the battery compartment until the battery locks into place. Lastly, startup is often a common reason the mower does not start. To start the unit. Pull back on the green handles while simultaneously pressing the (green) start button, please note the blades will turn off if you release the green handles. Made for tall people mowing very level lawn.

This is a nice mower that does a nice clip and bag or a nice mulch (disappears into the grass below). But perhaps still you want to consider for your application. It is a push mower, i.e. not self propelled, so you must push it and therefore it will be best on level and quite flat conditions. Also, the pushing handle is adjustable from I would consider very tall to tall. This also means you are pushing down into the ground more than I like, because I like to have my push go predominately foward. So if you are short or even medium height you might find this pushing handle a bit too high, where it is at the level of your lower ribs - I prefer waist height at max. Of course, the independence of a battery power source is much preferred over my old plug-in electric.

Horrible product. Already returned. Battery lasted 10 minutes. And took 80 minutes to charge. Thus this is a waste of metal and plastic

Don't fear replacing your trusty gas mower!

Had to replace an old 144cc Brigg & Stratton mower finally after many years of service. It certainly took a beating for many years. I was very concerned about if a battery operated mower could really do the job. My lot isn't huge...about 5,000 sq ft movable area I'd guess. By the time I'd made decision (after hours of research) the lawn was pretty tall and thick. Perfect test I thought.
What a dream this mower is! I don't like self propelled (I have may reasons) so I purchased the push mower. With the bigger wheels this thing just seemed to glide through the grass. It sounded more like I was vacuuming the lawn than mowing it and no vibrations! It never even bogged or hesitated once despite the workout I was giving it...never used Turbo mode at all. When I was done, I decided to lower the mower one notch and do another mulching pass on the back yard. Completely finished that and had 25% of the battery left. Recharge time was quick (less than an hour)...but I didn't even need to worry about a recharge or even a second battery.
All the features listed in the marketing are true so I won't bore you with that....it stores nicely, it folds away, it has two battery switch over if you want a second battery, etc, etc. I was mainly concerned with does this really have the power....it does in spades.

Metal corrodes

I didn't use it after raining or in the morning and kept it in the garage, still the metal corroded. The whole center of the lawnmower went down due to all the corrosion around it. Now I wasn't cleaning it after every use. Bought it in August 2021 so my warranty expired and it seems they delete accounts so this is a new one.

Nice smooth and powerful

Bought this for my 1/2 acre lot. The machine is smooth and easy to assemble although intructions can be a little easier. Batteries are huge and make a lot of noise while charging. The site claims that it will cut 3/4 of acre in one charge which is totally wrong as I had to charge twice to finish the 1/2 acre lot as it drains rapidly. Maybe it is the first time charge but will see how it works later. The chargging however is quick and does not take hours to full charge. The grass cut is clean, haven't used the mulching function yet as I collected in bag. Machine has power and is quiet and smooth to operate. You need to fully engage both hands while operating the self propelled function.

Two 60V Required

I purchased this late spring. Used it all summer on a yard size of just shy of a half acre. I do not have any hills. I love the wheal size as it moves across the yard with ease. Plenty of power for all types of grass. However, I cannot get more than 20-25 minute runtime. I reported this to Greenworks and they stated the batterie is for UP TO 45 minutes runtime averaging UP TO 1/2 acre. I'm not sure but seems they consider anything between 1-45 minutes within their advertised time limits.
You really need to be prepared to mow when the conditions are best for the mower. This isn't compatible with my schedule or mother nature's. If I let the lawn go a day to 3 past perfect mowing height, the battery will not last. If it's also little damp, three charges may be required.
This mower needs to be sold with at least 2 batteries for lawns up to a half acre.

No, I do not recommend this product.
