The YARDMAX 21 in. 170 cc 2-in-1 High Wheel Walk-Behind Push Lawn Mower features a light and compact design that makes it easy to mow smaller lawns and to maneuver the mower in tighter spaces, but still gives you plenty of features and lots of power for an entry-level mower. The mower was simple to assemble, requiring only the handle to be attached. It is solidly built. It is louder than a Honda but also more powerful, handling thick patches of grass without bogging down. It is remarkably easy to push with the double ball bearing wheels. The large wheels also allow the mower to handle divots and inconsistencies along the turf without bottoming out, gliding over rough and smooth terrain without hesitation. The lever to adjust the height is solid and operates smoothly. Easy to clean and maintain. This is a rock solid little mower for the money.

Minor Shipping Damage

Have used mower twice. Starts and cuts grass. Unit had big scratch on deck from shipping. Wasnt packed properly. All I wanted was some touch up paint and I would paint over scratch, but they refused to help me. Also back flap broke on one side during second mow. Very cheap plastic.

Solid mower for the price

We've used this for about a month now, mowing our rough, ledgy yard. No problems so far. Good power to eject grass out the chute. Need to remember to prime engine before starting, but no problems firing up.

No place to order parts

Heavy, hard to start, weak handle especially the lower portion where it attaches to the housing. breaks at the bolt hole after about 20-30 hours. There is no place online to order the parts; you have to go back to them and do a mandatory registration of your push mower!!! Customer service has bankers hours and the website is poorly designed/run. For the price you would expect better.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The only problem with this lawn mower, it’s hard to start. I used the lawn mower for the first time today and I had to pull the string 7-8 times until it started and I even pushed the primer button a few times. Other than that, it cuts great.
