Great addition to my Greenworks cordless tool arsenal! The tool is well balances and has plenty of power to handle my routing hedge and shrub maintenance. Looking forward to trying it out on the invasive bamboo and kudzu im clearing from my property.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been through two of these now. You have to make absolute sure that you never come across anything over 1/2" while you're hedging. Otherwise one or both blades will lock up and it will basically never work again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got it today. Long overdue for a hedge trimmer! It's a beast. Makes short work of my out of control Holly bushes and butterfly bush. I have owned the 60v Greenworks string trimmer and leaf blower for about 5 years. Great products, so it was a no brainer when it came time to purchase a hedge trimmer. Came with a 2.0 amp battery and charger. Great battery and good for a backup. I have the 4.0 amp that came with the weekender, so it gets used first. Makes a great tool that much better. Whenever I finally ditch my gas mower... I'll definitely get a Greenworks! Edit: I have been using this magnificent tool all day. Every shrub and bush you see pictured was obscenely overgrown. It cut branches larger than the claimed 1.1 inch... with zero hesitation. I filled just shy of 6 contractors garbage bags to critical mass. I only used my 6 year old 4.0 amp battery, and after all day, it still had 2 out of 4 bars left! I only used 50% of it's juice! If you're on the fence about getting this... do it. It was well worth the money. I will say that on a couple of occasions, it took a second to engage after pulling the trigger. But, I am a heavy equipment mechanic that uses battery operated tools, heavy duty tools (mostly Milwaukee), all day. And I've never had a tool that didn't do that on occasion. Just the nature of battery operated. I give it 5 stars.

It will cut through the thickest of branches and eliminates the pain of having a cut extension cord. Absolutely dependable and very low maintenace I would relly recommend it.
