[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this rub for the first time recently and it was a very good pre-manufactured rub. Not too spicy and not too sweet, it had a nice balance of the two with the heat becoming more pronounced at the end. I find that too often premixed rubs don’t deliver on flavor, but this one does. Also, too often premixed spices are too salty, even for someone like me that loves salt more than the average person. My wife is more sensitive to salt and mentioned that this rub is not too salty for her. We look forward to trying it on various different foods and are curious if it might work well on different types of meat.

I am very pleased with this seasoning because I didn't have to use a lot. I was worried about not using enough to get a good flavor, but this was perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sampled the Even Embers Hot Chicken Dry rub and found it to be a very good seasoning. It is meant for chicken but can really be put on any meat in my opinion. It has a slight kick to it, but not overbearing. it is perfect for poultry, but also goes great on seafood. It is excellent on roasted vegetables as well. This spice will replace the Montreal chicken seasoning we usually use. Anyone who like spicy chicken will love this dry rub. I recommend this seasoning.
