This EMAX 7.5 HP 80 gal. Single Phase Plus Silent Air Compressor is designed for up to 70,000 hours of commercial or industrial use with proper maintenance. This air compressor delivers 31SCFM at 100PSI, with Max 175PSI. Our silent air PLUS compressor features an industrial electric motor, magnetic starter, automatic tank drain, powder coated ASME tank with a 200 PSI rating, along with our continuous run functionality. All of this is paired with an all cast iron 70,000 hour rated patented pressure lubricated reciprocating pump. This air compressor features our patented SILENT AIR silencer system, already installed. This system dissipates compressor intake noise by channeling the intake air through a series of baffle plates. This low-profile system adds four levels of air filtration along with making the compressor quiet, lowering the decibels by more than 35%. - A: Hello Calvin, The electrical connection is a ¾” conduit knock out attached to the magnetic starter on the unit. That is the gray box on the right side facing in the image. The unit, as stated above, has a magnetic starter for the inbound power. All the starter requires is it to be wired with the proper wire size for the distance to the panel it is attached to and the correct size breaker, which we recommend a 50-amp breaker for this model.10 months agoHelpful?

The ES07V080V1 is our Industrial Series, the ESP07V080V1 is our Industrial Plus Series, They are both rated for industrial use but the ESP07V080V1 model has some bells and whistles that the other does not, including a TEFC motor, Belt Tensioner for easy maintenance, Continuous mode functionality for workloads over 50% duty cycle eliminates wear and tear on your magnetic contactor, and Auto tank drain w/timer. other then that they are the same producing the same CFM and power. This compressor is a beast!

This compressor is a beast! Not easy to pick up, even harder to unload but well worth the effort. It’s quiet, and very quick to fill the 80 gallon tank - has no problem keeping up with a large vapor honing cabinet that uses around 30cfm. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 is that it did not come with the rubber pads that it was supposed to and the oil pressure gauge was bad - took 5 days to get it to me (including the weekend), but I was unable to use it until I could verify their was actual oil pressure to the pump. Emax’s service line was very helpful, friendly and knew the product.

They say silence is bliss but when you have a air compressor as quiet as this emax, it's more than bliss. I never imagined an air compressor like this could be so quiet. I didn't believe this was possible, but I'm now a believer! Beyond the low noise levels, this is one fine compressor. Based on their pressure lube pump along with all of the features and warranty, I think this emax compressor will be with me for a long time. Super product.
