- A: The XP18HPE can be adjusted with the Philips head throttle adjustment screw located on the governor arm assembly. Please note that the screw will be on a metal bracket with a spring behind it. Q: Can electric start be added to this motor? Does it have a battery charging circuit?

- A: No, you can't add the electric start feature to this model because it won't have a flywheel that's compatible with a starter motor. No, the XP18HP doesn't have a charging circuit.4 years ago

Ordered a 440cc motor and a 439cc showed up. Doesn’t seem like a big difference but the 439cc only has 7 cover plate bolts and the 440cc has 10 and is much stronger. I never took possession of the motor yet later that day they charged my credit card. Had to wait a week for a refund to go looking for a replacement motor. BTW They showed the 10 bolt pattern in the description.
