I researched and crossed checked cable against owners manual prior to purchase. All part numbers matched. However, when cable arrived it was too long, and the ends were not correct for my garden tractor. My advice, do not order online, this item was only available online. Go into a store where you can clearly see what you are purchasing to make sure its correct
