Strong pump, right choice

Pump worked for three weeks then stopped pumping. Called Mfg they stated pump is warrantied thru Tractor Supply. I purchased pump at Medford TS who no longer sells pumps. Told to bring pump to Calverton TS. Calverton TS did not have pump in store. Sales person at Calverton TS said to place on line order and ship to Calverton TS. Calverton would not honor warranty refered me to mfg. Mfg stated TS must honor warranty. Calverton TS order parts from mfg to repair pump10 days ago. No call from Calverton TS as of Aug 2.

I'm pleased with the new water pump motor. I would like to tell people who have Well's if it's above ground to get this water pump motor.

Good pump tech support sucks

It is quieter than my last one that had a composite head. The problem I have with it is the pipe fittings on the front are more closely spaced making it more difficult to plumb.

We had been all over town looking for a jet pump and finally found one at tractor supply.

Great pump simple to install on the shelf when needed. Used for our shared well.

Fixed our water problem

Works great for filling storage tank. Was easy to install.

Was easy to install. Delivered good pressure. We did have trouble with the pressure switch shutting off properly

It did quite well (no pun intended) once we realized that it had a switch to change voltage. We seem to replace these every 4-5 years, but they have constant use on our farm

Great pump. I'm not using it on a well but pumping water from a creek up about a 50 foot rise to a cistern for a hunting cabin. It will fill the cistern (300 gallon) in about 25 minutes. Good flow. I would give it a 5 but this is replacing a similar model that was only 2 years old. It still ran and pumped but not at the force needed to get up the hill. Dont know if that was the pumps fault or just the hard work we put it through. I would buy it if you need a great pump though.

I have had to have this motor replaced for the 3rd time this year. Once in February, then in June, and again in September. I am glad I bought the warranty on it. Tractor Supply was very helpful in handling the problem for me. It was waiting at the front door when I came in for the exchange. And I thank them for that.

Very durable and reliable pump, used for irrigation.

This pump is a replacement for the same model pump that we installed eight years ago. A bearing had gone out and the pump seized. Replacement was just a matter of swapping the old for the new. It's working fine, and much quieter than the old one. I was hoping to get more than eight years out of the old one but with a household and livestock it did run quite a bit. Going back to the same model was the quickest way to restore water to the farm.

pumps was reasonably priced but doesnt last. I have had several of these pumps and some last a year but latest one only lasted 3 days.

Bought and agtter 1 month just started tripping breaker. Then was forced to pay for another 2 year and not offered a return. 2nd replacement pump lasted 1 day and started humming.. these are junk stay away from this brand.

Can’t really rate this cause I’m waiting for my plumber to install it

Had Issues with this pump. Now on # 3 after it works for a couple of months and then stops working. It Hums but will not turn on then trips the breaker. Purchased the extended warranty. Glad I did as it is expensive to replace these when they fail. Let's hope #3 is a charm.

Work very good silence

This jet pump was easy to install with basic plumbing and electrical knowledge. The instructions were easy to read and comprehend instructions walked us through each step. It came with a new pressure guage and switch, pretty much everything we needed for install, except the tools. The pressure switch was preset perfectly for our system; all we had to do was connect a few wires, install the correct venturi, and plumb it into our line wher our previous jet pump was. We would have had to wait over a week to get a comparable jet pump at any local big box store. This pump was on the shelf and ready to install the day we needed it at my local Tractor Supply. In our case, we had to install a check valve in addition to the new jet pump. (If your system gurggles all crazy and the jet keeps kicking on, it's probably the check valve.) We did not already have a check valve because the old (much more expensive) jet pump (with the same pressure and specs) we purchased a few years ago from Granger, had a check valve inside of it. It has failed, (hence our jet pump purchase) I expect this pump to last much longer. It works better than the more expensive pump from Granger ever did. I found it on a Friday night, after searching all day, (because i forgot how to use the phone and internet to check stock, i guess?? Well problems got me all crazy!)... I found it at my local store, open late and on weekends, unlike specialty stores. I am so glad I found out you carry well pumps!

Great product for the price. I like that there are replacement parts available instead of having to replace the hole unit when a seal or bearing fails.
