Does this pump self prime? My water level in my well is at about 16 ft deep.

Asked by: VDeere
VDeere Thanks for your question. After you fill the pump body with water the pump will self prime. Thanks Customer Service

We have a 40’ shallow well not sure how deep the pipe is set in well. This says pumps at 25’ or less. Will this work in our well?

Asked by: Duchess2013
Duchess2013 Thanks for your interest in our jet pump. The main thing you need to check is the water level in the well. If it is below 25' you will have to use a deep well jet. You also have to remember the water level may lower as you pump. This is dependent on what the well can produce. (gpm) Thanks Customer Service 877-326-3561
