Cold Steel President Lynn C. Thompson is an avid collector of wooden weaponry and ethnographic arms, and when he saw a beautiful example of a Ball Headed War Club made by custom Bladesmith Rich McDonald, he jumped at the chance to work with Rich to reproduce it for a modern audience. Cold Steels Indian War Club is injection molded from weatherproof high-impact polymer materials that are virtually impervious to impact. This material is highly resistant to the elements and won't warp, rot, crack or splinter like wooden versions. Each club is approximately 2 ft. long with a 3 1/4" diameter ball head, and fitted with a removable blunt steel stud. For historical re-enactors the surface has a realistic wood grain finish that can be easily painted and customized with brass studs, tacks, or feathers.

  • 19mm Diameter Steel Spike. 1055 Carbon with Black Oxide Finish
  • Polypropylene Handle
  • 24" Overall Length
  • Weighs 37.8 Oz.

Beast of a Weapon

Solid as a rock. This bad boy will bust cinder blocks with no damage. The spike is solid and very sharp. I love the weight. Once you add a little grip to the handle you are good to go.

Love it

This thing is freaking amazing, wish they still made it with the original metal stud versus the spike it now comes with. However with a little heat to that spike and a good vise you can remove it so it's not as lethal lol. Shipping was fast and was packaged very well, will definitely return. Love ColdSteel.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Question????

Can this be ordered without the spike. I see that as a problem. I don't want to have it sticking to what I'm striking. Understand?😉

Ball headed war club

The club is big (bigger than a real club), heavy (mace like in balance) , and as others have mentioned the thumb size spike isn’t easily removable ( heat and locking pliers ). That being said, it is a formidable piece of plastic and steel. Used with a two handed grip, it would easily be lethal. As a novel representation of a Ball headed war club, it’s great! As a self defense tool, look for something lighter.

Yes, I recommend this product.
