I have had this grill for over 5 years. Keep it covered outside and it will last forever. Smoking is easy charcoal grilling is good and gas is too. Only thing that is bad are the gas heat shields rust off every year and the wires to the electric ignition melts too.

The instructions give an estimate of 45 Minutes to assemble. It will take you at least twice that just to unpack it. I am a degreed Mechanical Engineer that has turned wrenches since my hands could hold them and it took me at least six hours to assemble. I recall the count of just the 1/4-20 x 3/4 fasteners was approximately ninety. Plan on leaving every single one of these loose and not tightening until the very, very end. Also, there is no torque specified in the instructions and the heads will snap as if they were made from foreign steel. Everything arrives stuffed too tightly into the ovens, which did not have adequate packaging and arrived scratched on the exterior. Also, the entire interior is coated with some kind of industrial vegetable oil (rust preventative) that left a liquid residue on many of the pieces. They recommend a burn-off so don't plan on cooking with it right out of the box. I would only recommend this product if you are buying in-person from a trusted retailer who has already assembled it, and you've inspected it inside and out.

I've loaded this up for big family events and never had an issue keeping it going or steady temp. Fantastic

Would be a 4* but you can't find replacement bottom half gas side... Charcoal side works great as well as the fire box
