The blower-based units create dust, noise and fumes. The unique auger design transfers feed smoothly and quietly. The auger worked good for just corn & the small battery in my UTV ran the auger without any issues. When I put a mix of corn, roasted soy bean & protein pellets in the auger it came out with a lot of ground up pellets & dust. The gap between the auger & tube needs to be smaller/tighter than the pellets & soy beans. One of the legs got bent in shipping & made it hard to adjust the height of the feeder. I am surprised it was only one bent leg & not more shipping damage the way the auger is packaged. I plan on adding a short extension on the end of the auger tube & a maintained on/off switch so I have both hands free when the auger is running. It took apx 15min to move 350#s of feed my thumb got sore holding the switch down for that long time..

Tractor Supply dropped the ball!!!!

Auger seems good but Tractor Supply is an issue. Packaging was damaged and on Sunday FEB 8th I called in the problem the woman was pleasant, took my complaint and Ias of 17th no confirm of complaint or resolution on the issue has been received. I can’t use the auger without the wire harness that was lost in transit.
