Does what I needed it to

Great product, but I had to modify it. I used it to run invisible fence around the perimeter of a chain link fence.
Biggest issue was the screw. It either didn't want to bite, or, when it did, it wasn't very secure. Ended up buying #6 x 2" machine screws with nuts, and #8 washers.
Feed the screw and washer through the hole, and into the screw hole of the bracket. Place a washer and nut on other end and tighten. It'll be much more secure after that.

Wrong hardware in package

If you are thinking that you can buy this package, screw them together, then install them you'd be mistaken. The supplier has either stamped the wrong size hole in the bracket or shipped these with the wrong size screw. Quality control was definitely napping when the supplier put these things together. If you want to use these you will either have to buy screws that fit or drill out the brackets to use the screw that came with the product. I think the supplier either needs to recall all of these or ship out the right size screw for the bracket to the vendors to give to everyone that purchases this product. Ignoring an issue like this isn't good for the supplier, vendor, or customer.

The holes in the bracket were too small for the provided screws. I had to drill out each bracket slightly larger by 1/64in to make it work. They should come already assembled.

NEVER AGAIN. The packaging shows a chain link installation where the ends of the standoff are bent over to grasp the fence wire. The ends are pre-bent in the wrong direction to do this. There are 2 predrilled holes where you would use the provided cotter pin IF you could bend it in place around the fence wire. The cotter pin cannot fit both holes at the same time so the thing is not securely attached to the fence wire as designed. The provided screws are cheap metal and feel like aluminum. They DO NOT self thread and out of 2 packs of 10, I couldn't get a single screw to thread. I used a short self tapping screw just to pre drill it and the provided screws still would not thread in. I stripped out the phillips head of every single screw. There needs to be better self threading screws with a torx or hex head.
No, I do not recommend this product.
