The Field Guardian Pipe Clamp Insulators are a durable and sturdy choice for your fencing project. The clamp design of the fence insulator creates a secure grip on existing panels to support the wires. The high density polyethylene construction prevents the electrical current from moving through the clamp insulator to damage the post.
- Fence insulators can be mounted on the horizontal or vertical section of a panel
- Hold conductors 3.5 in. away from the post

Q: I have the same question. lets try this. we understand the wire part, the pipe being referred to is the part that the insulator attaches to for holding it in the air. surely you don't string a vertical wire to hold these and then run your electric wire.

- A: 1. The pipe clamp insulator will not work on a 1" pipe. It is too small. 2. I am not 100% sure of the question but the part of the insulator that goes around the pipe is connected back to itself using screws that come in the package. There are two size screws to use depending on the size of the pipe.4 years agoHelpful?
