AIMS Power 7,000W Modified Sine Inverter, 24VDC to 240VAC, 50/60 Hz

The AIMS Power 7000W Modified Sine Inverter accepts a 24V input and produces 240vac of modified sine wave AC power. with the AIMS Power industrial grade line, you get a commercial grade inverter that is a true work horse. The 240vac output is a great option for an off grid well pump, large 240vac air compressor, or an electric motor. However, keep in mind that this inverter is not ""split phase""; you will not be able to pull one leg of 120V off of it. This inverter also has a selectable frequency switch making it ideal for European and African applications where 50 Hz power is needed. The modified sine wave inverter can easily be changed from a North American output (60 Hz) to a European/African output (50 Hz) with the flip of a simple switch. with the 24V DC input, you can run smaller cable and multiple batteries for this heavy-duty inverter. The 220V AC can provide a small house with power over seas when the utility power is out or unavailable. Although this inverter has similar features to that of its standard grade counter parts, it does boast some industry leading features. First, it offers a power surge capability of 14,000W for 9 full seconds. That in itself sets this AIMS power inverter apart from the rest; standard inverters can only sustain their surge power ratings for less than a second. This is a huge advantage with loads that require a large in rush current; for example, air conditioners and compressors can have an in rush rate of 4-5 times their normal running amps or W. Next is the heat tolerance; standard inverters typically have thermal shut down protection around 110 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, whereas the AIMS Power industrial inverters can handle up 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Allowing this inverter to be used is extreme heat locations, or under intense loads without disruption.
