I use these pellets for cat litter. Being in cat rescue we try to find products that work well at a reasonable price. It is great for cats because when they urinate, it turns the pellets to sawdust and it is easy to scoop out. No dust like the regular and clumping litter. A lot cleaner to use. Remember, don't mist it like you would for horses, just leave it as is and the cats will do the rest. Great buy for people with multiple cats looking for a cheaper and effective alternative.

Most of these reviews address a different brand. Not the new Tractor Supply brand. It is a very poor substitute - starts out brownish and is not nearly as absorbent as the ones they use to carry for less cost. I will not buy any more of it.

I use this as cat litter for my 2 kittens and my moms uses it for our 2 adult cats, works super well. It does create a lot of power as the pellets fall apart when they absorbs liquid so I find myself having to change the litter box every 2 days or so but I should be doing that anyways for odor and sanitary reasons. Easy to clean up, cats love it, super cheap!!

I use these pine pellets as an economical alternative to regular cat litter. There’s a bit of a learning curve when you first switch over. Gradually transition your cat from their current litter to pine pellets by mixing the two and gradually eliminating the traditional litter.
