Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for chicken coops and cat enclosures! I bought this to help keep down the odor in my chicken coop. I put it down under pine flakes and it keeps the coop clean and fresh smelling. I also have quite a few feral cats I've rescued and this really helps keep down the smell of them marking their territory. I had read about it on a poultry forum and thought I'd give it a try. It's wonderful!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok Buy 16 bags of the equine pine pellets every two to three weeks and usually it’s always great however this time I received three bags out of the 16 that had been taped up where there were huge holes and the quantity in each bag looked less than the ones that weren’t damaged. I think if they have damaged bags they should mark them down! That’s only right. When boxes of food or canned goods is damaged they are always marked down.

Is this product safe to use in goat pens? I have 4 goats and their pen is dirt flooring. We have straw for their bedding but as you know goats urinate alot and we use a rake to mix up the soil but was wondering if this product was good to use for them

Asked by: pam thorne
This is a safe and efficient product for all goats. The amount used should be determined by the number of inhabitants and activity as well as size of containments and stalls.

One of our horses does not keep her stall very dry and it will have a very strong ammonia smell. The stall is a 12x16 foot stall how often can we use this product in her stall and how much would we use at a time?

Asked by: sherbear123
The initial application routine for Sweet PDZ in a stripped stall environment is to simply sprinkle a visible covering (generally 4 to 6 cups in a 12’x12’ stall) on the floor of the stall, with the heaviest treatment where the urine is concentrated. Apply your preferred bedding per your routine. Your daily routine should include the removal of the saturated bedding material as usual, and then sprinkle a visible covering (generally .5 cup to 2 cups, depending on the size of the wet area) of Sweet PDZ on the “wet spots”.
