The Tracker Safe 8 Long Gun 5.4 cu. ft. Combination Lock Gun Safe is an 8 gun safe that is a unique slim fire rated safe that is perfect for tight areas or closets. This slim safe has an 8 long gun capacity (capacity depends on type and size of guns) and features a gray carpeted interior. This heavy-duty safe comes with adjustable shelving heights/placements. One upper shelf is included with the safe. There are 4 pre-drilled holes on the bottom for bolting this slim safe to the floor.

Q: Is there a backup key?

- A: There is not a back up key. The mechanical dial lock is a high quality group 2 UL listed dial lock. For electronic lock Tracker Safe's, we only install high quality UL Listed Electronic Locks on our safes. Unfortunately UL states that a key bypass can be manipulated so that is why they do not come with key bypass - for security reasons. Electronic keypads are very easy to service and maintenance without breaking into your safe. In the case of a keypad failure, you'd simply unplug the faulty keypad and plug in a new keypad. On the new keypad, you would use the same combination that is programmed on the safe as the keypad does not store any combinations. New keypads are currently around $75 or so. You can purchase a new keypad anytime and always have it on hand for whenever you may need it in the future. Keypad failures are rare these days as technology gets better every year. One tough and HEAVY safe!

This little safe is built like a tank. 9 gauge steel and super tough and heavy for it`s size, and at 60" tall x 15.75" deep x 18" wide and 285 lbs. this little safe will fit nearly anywhere!

A nice little gun safe

I purchased this small gun safe for keeping a few firearms readily available in my home. It is very satisfactory for this purpose. Its footprint fits the space I intended for placing the safe. It is attractive with a neutral color and subdued labeling. Be sure to secure it to the floor and/or wall. It’s heavy and unstable with the door open. Consider the electric lock. I chose the mechanical lock and the operation is “clunky”—not as smooth as the lock used in my primary gun safe. The long gun storage set up could be improved by better spacing the notches for the firearms’ butts.
