The Hornady Cordless 20-LED Safe Light features 20 white LEDs that provide 70 lumens of light for gun safes, closets, cabinets, drawers and corridors. With on/off/auto modes, the LED motion light bar can be set to illuminate when movement is detected and shut off after 20 seconds.

50/50 Chance of One Working Properly

I purchased two (would have purchased a third but only two were in stock) of these from my local TSC on 10/1/2021. Brought them home and put new batteries in both of them. I have three large gun safes and all three need lights. One of the lights works perfectly and illuminates my safe very well. It comes on as soon as I open the door. The other light will not work in the motion activated mode. It works fine in the constant on mode, but in the motion activated mode, you have to cover the sensor with your hand and sometimes it will come on. Just ordered a new LED Light Kit from another vendor.

Works well so far. Attached it below the top shelf of my Winchester 20 gun safe and it seems to illuminate quite well. Might get a second for the top shelf. The auto on/off function seems to work well and has not failed to activate the light every time I've opened the door. We'll see how long batteries last.

Better suited on the outside.

I'm actually giving this light a 3 1/2 ☆ review.
I tried putting it on the inside of my safe.
Which it didn't light up the inside very well and the motion
sensor would not work when ever the door was opened.
I had to wave my hand in front of it to turn it on.
So, I mounted it on the outside just above the door. Lights up
The inside very well now except for the very top shelf and I can now
See my combination dial at night in the dark in case I have to axis
It for emergencies.
