The Sports Afield Preserve Fireproof and Waterproof 24-Gun Safe provides all the essentials for security, giving you total peace of mind. Our proprietary Triple Seal technology creates a seal against smoke and fire damage for 45 minutes in temperatures up to 1400°F and water protection for up to 7-days in 2 ft. of standing water. This long gun safe is constructed out of industrial grade steel with a fortified Uni-Weld body and six 1.5 in. steel locking bolts. It features a fully programmable electronic lock, Anti-Theft Alarm, and comes with two Fail Safe override keys. The interior of the safe is fully carpeted and includes a barrel rack with 24 gun positions, a Zero-Sag steel reinforced top shelf that supports heavier items, and three height-adjustable side shelves. This gun safe is California DOJ approved and includes our best-in-class Lifetime Warranty that covers the entire safe against theft, fire, natural flood, locks, parts, and paint.

Q: I read in the description that it can be mounted to the floor but can it be mounted to the wall as well. I plan on putting up on a pedestal to get it off the floor it says it's water proof but I rather not test it.

We always recommend bolting it to the floor with the included waterproof bolt-down kit, otherwise the waterproof rating will not be intact. Q: From the picture I can see the shelf rails in the back right. however I can not see it the rails are on all sides. I am looking to remove the gun rack and just have shelfs top to bottom to house ammo. Can anyone advise?

- A: I have the 24 gun Sports Afield Preserve safe.I looked in the paperwork that came with the safe and it said when both the red and green lights illuminate it is due to weak batteries.I would try putting brand new Alkaline batteries in the battery compartment.Do not use off brand batteries.Use Duracell Alkaline.That should take care of your issue.5 years agoHelpful?

I looked at various gun safes for months trying to find the one that had all of the features I was looking for.I was looking for a 24 Gun Safe that had atleast a 3 spoke chrome handle,Had an electronic lock with backup keys,had an electrical outlet in the safe,weighed around 400 pounds or less,and has a great warranty.I found all of that in the Sports Afield Preserve SA5924P 24+4 Gun Fire/Waterproof Gun Safe.The warranty can not be beat.Sports Afield covers the safe for life in the event of burglary or fire.It covers the parts,paint, and electronic lock for life for any reason.They will pay for locksmith services for life if the lock ever fails or you are ever locked out.THERE IS NO BETTER WARRANTY OUT THERE.I Highly recommend this Gun Safe.

Toxic fumes

Great safe great features but the toxic fumes from construction materials were overwhelmingly bad. I’ve been around building and purchased new cars and furniture and there has never been anything this bad.

Great safe to me. I really like the rating it has for a Fire and Water. Plus the layout inside to me is perfect. Delivery was a little odd. The driver is in a small semi truck. So you may have to work with them on delivery options/areas if your driveway isn’t open enough for that.
Yes, I recommend this product.
