Lightweight and easy to handle

Our last toro lasted over 15 years. My 66 year young wife mows the nearly 1 acre we have because I work out of town a lot. This thing is amazing

Toro and Briggs and Stratton suck

I bought this mower and it started to smoke and oil was getting into the carburetor. I sent it to a authorized toro shop. They said the cylinder was scorched. Sent pics to toro. They, “Toro” said I ran it while it was low on oil. First off, I’m 58 years old a know how to use and maintain a mower. I always checked the oil and replaced air filter. I also bought the warranty And that was denied as well. Not happy with Toro

Poor quility/lack of service

After purchasing the mower and an extended warranty from Tractor Supply, the plastic brake clip broke after only 10 uses. I brought the mower in for repair over four weeks ago, and it is still not fixed. I have repeatedly been told there is no estimated completion date.
When I purchased the mower, I was told that if it could not be repaired, I would receive a full refund. However, the store now refuses to honor that, claiming a 30-day limit—something I was never informed of at the time of purchase. The extended warranty has proven useless, and I’ve had to purchase another mower just to finish my yard work for the season.
To make matters worse, the lack of communication and accountability has been extremely frustrating. I have never experienced such poor service from a retailer.
I am requesting an immediate resolution, either in the form of a replacement mower or a full refund, as this situation has dragged on far too long.

Cuts grass poorly

Always starts. When cutting grass, It will leave blades of grass sticking up uncut. Tried sharpening blade and raised idle speed. Didn’t help.
My old Honda used to suck up any leaves on the grass, this Toro, throws the back out on grass.
Very unhappy with it.

The mower cuts very well, although it has a design flaw when mulching. There is excess grass blown around the mulch cover onto the mower deck and out the back onto your feet.
