The Thermo-Peep Heated Pad is the ideal additional heat source for your peeps! The 9" x 12" size is perfect for the urban farmer in many settings. Use in the first stages of life for mandatory heat requirements and later when old man winter pays a visit! The internal thermostat is pre-set to the perfect temperature. Ensuring your chicks do not "get chilled" will help prevent "pasting" and support a healthy start. Only 25 watts makes the Thermo-Peep Heated Pad the most energy efficient heat source on the market for your peeps. We even capped the cord entrance and the first 18" of the power cord with steel for the ultimate safety and well-being of your birds. Buyer beware! Fire hazard!!!

I have owned this for about 3 years. This pad burned a whole in the bottom with exposed insides, melted and burned the entire top. It continued to heat. I am sure it would have caught on fire if I had not found it when I did. Luckily, my hedgehog was ok. I don’t want anyone to have this same experience!
No, I do not recommend this product.

My cat and mini pigs love this!

I love this heating pad. it's nice to not have to worry about your pets being cold but also not have to worry about your barn burning down. I like that it will not burn them but is warm enough to comfort them on cold evenings. Right now both our cat and pigs like it so I might have to buy another one!

Works For Bunnies Too!

When I was looking at getting this I was hesitant to buy it because I don’t own any livestock. I do however have two rabbits that are prone to deadly digestive issues. When they get sick it is very important to keep their body temperature high to help their body not go into shock. I was very grateful to have this because it heats up enough to help with this. I used it with a towel to make sure it would not burn them. Overall, I really think this product is worth the price and is of excellent quality.
