If the chickens have worms, we would recommend Wellness Brew that is made with oregano essential oil that can help lessen the worm burden in the digestive tract.9 months agoHelpful?
Q: Will this product kill tapeworms and other parasites/eggs in the dirt if applied to the run?
9 months ago2 Answers
- A: Tapeworms and their eggs are extremely resilient, and eucalyptus essential oil will not affect them. Tapeworms require an intermediate host—typically insects found in the poultry environment—to complete their life cycle. While diatomaceous earth may help reduce some insect populations and eucalyptus oil can repel certain pests, a very large quantity of the product would be needed to see any meaningful effect. Other parasite eggs present similar challenges.9 months agoHelpful?

I love this stuff! Works great!

This stuff is great. And with the diatomaceous earth as well as the lemongrass and eucalyptus, the Flies do not like it! I was a little paranoid at first cuz I was afraid my chickens would eat it but they have not. They're not the brightest bulb in the closet! I'm going back for more of this payday. My only regret is they don't make it in a larger container.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Not impressed.
Wasn’t impressed with the product over all. The packaging is nice and small for easy storing. I was hoping for a stronger scent. It was so soft and light. I don’t think it was worth paying $13 for a very light scent. I think baking soda did a better job.
No, I do not recommend this product.
