The SIMPSON Megashot 3400 PSI pressure washer cannot connect directly to a static water tank because its axial cam pump needs positive water pressure from a standard garden hose to function safely. If you try to run it from a tank without pressure, the pump will overheat and permanently damage its internal seals. To make it work, you will need to elevate your tank for a gravity-fed setup or hook up an inline 12-volt transfer pump to feed water into the machine.Anonymous10 days agoHelpful?

Filling this out before even using it because I'm registering the warranty and want the free power nozzle I'm supposed to get for filling it out. Was mostly already put together. Wish instructions just said to add ALL the oil they give you (16oz). But because they don't I had to add it a little at a time. Hopefully they let me update how it works.

Bought this pressure washer about month ago. Easy to start, runs well, great pressure. I like the fact that it isn’t too heavy and can be loaded in my truck easily for transport.
