You will easily be able to apply detergent by attaching the siphon tube to the barb on the pump and placing the filter end of the siphon hose directly into a pressure washer safe detergent. The SIMPSON Megashot 3400 PSI pressure washer cannot connect directly to a static water tank because its axial cam pump needs positive water pressure from a standard garden hose to function safely. If you try to run it from a tank without pressure, the pump will overheat and permanently damage its internal seals. To make it work, you will need to elevate your tank for a gravity-fed setup or hook up an inline 12-volt transfer pump to feed water into the machine.Anonymous2 months agoHelpful?
