- A: No, this does not have a chemical tank. On-board detergent tanks can come with pros and cons depending on your preference. Some like the convenience during operation (not having to move buckets and detergent hoses), while many professionals prefer not to have an on-board tank (they don’t want to clean it out after use). All of Simpson models do apply soap either with a separate siphon tube or an on-board tank- it’s just a matter of deciding which application technique you prefer.
