The pressure washer's PSI rating is based on the cooperation of the pump, engine and nozzle working together- all of which affect the PSI at the business end. Q: Several specs are incorrect. The 60735 shows 11HP and the 60995 with 5.5 HP. Can I assume they are both 5.5HP. I prefer the CAT pump. Are they the same other than the frame and pump ? Thank You.

Works Well If You Can Start It

The pressure washer works well once started and is easy to move around. However, one of the reasons I bought this model was the Honda engine which has turned out to be very temperamental, difficult to start, and a disappointment. I down sized from a 13 HP model that was much easier to start. Also when I used it for the 1st time today, a wheel fell off. An axel pin is missing so I had to use a piece of wire to hold it on.

Build Quality / Performance

Although the aluminum base frame was bent when received, the handle assembly was able to be attached without too much difficulty. Performance of Model ALH3228-S was impressive. Simpson makes a great pressure washer, and more importantly it was made (or at least assembled) in the U.S.A.

The Gold Standard Engine / Pump Combo

This Honda GX200 / CAT Pump combo is the gold standard and should be the last pressure washer for home use I will ever need to buy if I take care of it properly with frequent oil changes, pump oil changes and pump protector. Look forward to this 3400 PSI bump up from a previous 3000 PSI washer.
