- A: Hi, Jimt. Thank you for your question. This would be the thermal relief valve, which opens when the water temperature reaches 145 degrees. This normally occurs when the instructions in the owner's manual are not followed and the machine is allowed to run for over 2 to 3 minutes without the trigger being pulled, risking damage to the pump. Q: my simpson 3100 has an issue it locks up. I cant pull start it unless I relieve the water out of the wand. It runs as long as I hold the trigger, but not pushing the normal pressure out. If I release trigger motor stops running.

Q: how many 0Z oil goes in 3100 psi, 2.3 GPM, 208 cc pressure washer MS 61217. Reason I ask: 16 oz came with unit, but spec I see in manual says 21 ounces. I put the 16 oz in But haven't used yet bec not sure if I have to buy & add 5 more oz

This is our third pressure washer, and I guess the third time is the charm. The other two were hard to operate and didn’t work that well. Thankfully someone recommended the Simpson pressure washer and we couldn’t be more pleased.

i use pressure washers a lot and this one feels solid this far pull start kicks on fairly easily motor sounds good and controls are easy to use hose could be a little longer but it does the job thus far i'm happy with purchase
