Electric vs. Gas Pressure Washers

Pressure washers can either be electric-powered or run on gas. A corded electric model is ideal for small, lower-effort jobs, but choose a battery-powered variant if you need the portability. On the other hand, gas-powered washers are more powerful, making them better for larger, more demanding jobs. To do a heavier-duty job, such as cleaning a house’s entire exterior or washing off brick or stone surfaces, consider using a gas pressure washer rated at 2,500 to 3,000 PSI or more and 3.0 GPM or higher.
