Rough to begin with but now it’s great.

Picked up this machine today to replace a 14 year old Briggs and Stratton unit. I was on the fence on getting a Harbor Freight unit with more pressure and GPM for the same price. But I had $240 of credit to use at TSC so went ahead and bought it Got it home, unboxed the unit and assembled it. Filled with the required amount of oil, hooked up the hoses and cranked it up per the instructions. Started right up and had great pressure for a couple of minutes then started bogging down and struggling to run even with no wand attached. Shutting down and drained the lines then pulled it into the shop. I took the drain plug from the side of the carburetor bowl and had a green tint gas come out of it. Went ahead and took the carburetor bowl completed off and flushed it with gasoline. Did not have any solid particles come out just the green tinted gas and after a minute of allowing it to flush turned the fuel off and put the bowl back in place. Went through the start-up procedure again and this time it ran like a champ with different throttle settings and nozzles and no more issues. Besides the hiccup at the beginning this is a really solid unit. Glad I took the time performing some troubleshooting because it seems to have run like normal after the carburetor flush.

Yes, I recommend this product.
