Varathane Exterior Oil-Based Spar Urethanes keep wood looking amazing thanks to their advanced scratch and weather resistance, making them ideal for finishing a wide range of outdoor wooden items. Oil-based polys adds a golden to amber glow to finishes while still providing an exceptional level of protection to increase the lifetime of surfaces. Premium Spar Urethane provides excellent protection from UV light and weather to keep wood looking its best. Formula also expands and contracts with weather conditions for consistent performance. Not recommended for decks or high traffic areas, siding, or rough-sawn surfaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Varathane clear gloss oil based exterior spar urethane is the best oil based gloss I have used I would definitely recommend this for your next outdoor project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on some new coops for my chickens and I love it! It was easy to apoly, dried fairly quickly, and left the wood looking very pretty I will definitely be purchasing more!

Real good company

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used the Varathane clear gloss oil based urethane yet because it's too cold outside. It says to apply between 50 and 90 degrees. It has not gotten higher than 50 degrees where I live. As soon as it gets warm enough I will be using it. I actually can't waiting to use it because this is a good company and their products get the job done.
