The Rugged Ranch Pueblo Grand Chicken Coop is a great upgrade option to enlarge your flock. The Pueblo Grande comes with access doors on 3 sides with 2 nesting boxes. The coop has a total of 3 roost bars: 2 inside roost and 1 in the yard. It also has a small rear entry door to let one bird out a time as well as an extra large clean out pan. The hen house has dual air flow vents to allow plenty of fresh air to flow into the hen house. This beautiful coop will look great in any space!

Q: What are the Dimensions of the coops roosting area? Meaning the inside area where they would sleep. I noticed that the bottom area is open on one side. so it looks larger than it actually is.

It looks great and was fairly easy to put together (although the instructions could have been clearer). It's functions well. The slide out tray makes it easy to clean up after our biddies. We like the ventilation windows and human door. The height is a plus (something we didn't have in our old coop) but the coop is not as wide as we expected - the width includes the nesting box hanging off of the side, so it's only 4' wide inside. We love that there are multiple access doors - very convenient. We use this coop only for them to eat, sleep, and lay eggs in - it's attached to a larger run so they can stretch their legs during the day. I think it would be far too cramped for 10 chickens otherwise. Our chickens are happier and lay larger eggs when they have more room. We are happy with our purchase and our biddies took to it immediately.

Looks great but wont house 10 chicks

My 9 chicks (full size heritage breed) are only 2 months old and I'm now looking for an additional coop, they are way too crowded. Would only recommend for 4-6 birds or bantams. Coop was easy to install, and easy to access to clean. I'm only 5'2" but have to bend over and turn sideways to get into it. Looked larger in photo.

Not a great coop ok as a starter coop

This coop is not well built. It says it fits 10 hens, there isn’t much rousting space. The 2 inside are to close together It has worked for me for 2year so far, but I’ve had to reinforce the wire as it is stapled in, a raccoon can easily pull it off.
The latches are easy for a raccoon to open as well.
The roof is popping off also.
I put a sheet of plywood w a horse mat over to prevent raccoons or rats from getting in from the bottom. Also installed an automatic door.
There are better products out there. I’d buy from the Amish their coops are a bit more but much better quality.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Overpriced and falls apart

This coop will not last more than a year. It fits 4 full size chickens. It is put together with staples. The tongue and groove slats start falling out early. It is wood, so where it touches the ground, it will rot. The chickens will roost at night in the box, which is its only good feature. Buy something less expensive or metal. TSC has a great metal coop in the same price range - it is a pain to put together but it will not fall apart. I believe it is the Sentinel XL coop.
