This type of hay ring is designed for horses, which are taller and have longer necks than cattle. If you want a hay ring for cattle, get one that has a circle on the top. They can stick their heads through the gaps and reach the hay. If you use a cow ring for horses, they will end up with a bald spot in their manes from rubbing on the tubing.

Was supposed to be a county line hay ring but wa s labeled as “tarter” seems to be well constructed as the support feet are a much better design than prior hay rings I have purchased. Good welds also a improvement.Was missing a bolt to join the pieces together but I had a sore bolt in the shop. Would have given it five stars if all the bolts were all included. Quality control needs to insure all parts are included
