This does great on our farm. We have goats, sheep, horses, and donkeys. They all love it.

Mediocre quality workmanship, too lightweight

Some of the welds were broken and the feeder was dented prior to use. The feeder is so lightweight that the goats continually knock it over, pinning the kids underneath. I would not buy this again.

Cute hay feeder, but does NOT last longterm

I'm honestly shocked at all the other great reviews, because I purchased this hay feeder for my Nigerian Dwarf Goats a few years ago and it's completely falling apart! Such poor quality. The feeder itself is super cute with a good capacity for hay flakes, and it worked great for a few months, but it rusted SO quickly (and is now completely unusable). The welds were rusting within the first year, so I moved it to a covered area of the barn to limit rain and sun exposure. It's been about 3 years now and it's broken and rusted through in so many places that it doesn't stand on it's own and is a safety hazard that had to be thrown away. I have not had the same problem with other Tarter problems, but very disappointing and I will be replacing it with a heavier gauge product. For the price ($275+), I feel like it should last significantly longer. Would not recommend.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not too happy

Pushed this thing just barely with my mower to move it out of the way and the legs completely bent and snapped.  Was expecting better quality for the price

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good Product

Perfect for feeding mini horses, goats etc. I have 2 mini horses and the size is just right. The only drawback and I would think this could be easily taken care of is the weight. The unit is not heavy enough. These minis are small but very very strong for their size. Once they are done eating, they like to shove the rack around in play. It has held up to the playing so far but we are definitely going to add weight to the underside (and soon).

Yes, I recommend this product.
