Rocky Women's 10 in. Original Ride Western Boots, RKYW082

I'm a country kid...I'm 37 and I've been buying, wearing and wearing out boots since I was 3. Of all the boots I've EVER had (Ariat, Durango, you name it) these have been the most comfortable and have held up to the most "abuse" - out doing chores in mud or winter, they have been amazing. I would by these again and again.

I got these a couple years back for basic field work, as I do a lot of work by rivers and bayous. These have held up and are still by go-to for field that doesn't require steel toe. They did get a tear on one while I was working on a flooded Brazos River, but are otherwise still in good condition despite mud, lots of walking, getting flooded, etc, etc. They are a bit clunky, but I wear thick socks and they work well. If I'm wearing them over pants, then they get grass and bits stuck in them, but that's my only complaint.

I was a bit skeptical when I pulled the boots out of the box. I'm not used to the shorter height of this kind of boot. I bought these to work on the ranch only, not to go out to dinner, etc. I've only had a chance to wear them a few times but so far they are very comfortable for such a sturdy boot. I have every confidence that they will hold up well in the snow and ice this winter.

These boots were unbelievably comfortable from the first time I put them on! There was absolutely no need to break them in! The quality of the boot is second to none, and I can tell that the company is concerned with their reputation. I've told all of my coworkers and friends about my Rockies! The only thing I had a tough time with was the length of time between the order and receiving the boots. I ordered the boots December 20th and received them on March 19th.. I understand that a good product takes time, however a follow-up email or even a quick "we haven't forgotten about you" notice would have been a great touch to know that the company was aware of the long wait. I will definitely be ordering these boots again, but now that I know it takes awhile to get them, I will plan accordingly. Thank you Rocky!
