Q: I fed and my yearling got epiphysis in knee from too much protein 16%.
7 months ago- A: Hello. We’re sorry to hear about your horse’s experience. Because conditions like epiphysitis can have several possible causes, we recommend consulting your veterinarian for specific guidance on your yearling’s diet and care plan. Your vet can help determine whether any feed adjustments are needed.7 months agoHelpful?
Q: id like to start my two 2 1/2 year old fillys on this will it be safe and good to give this brand to them at there age?
4 years ago- A: If the horses are still growing, then Ultium Growth can be fed. (some horses grow slowly, can continue growing up to age 4). If they are skeletally grown, then we would recommend a different product. To do that, we would need more information. Age, breed, current body condition, what they are currently fed, including hay, and how much of each, activity level, etc.4 years agoHelpful?
