Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feed!! I have been feeding 400 for 10 years. It is a wonderful feed and contains a lot of roughage in the form of loose beet pulp. Horses completely eat all of it. I have never had a horse colic while on this product.

Are the fed in instructions the amount that should be fed in absence of any alternative feeds?

Asked by: RedRockteer
The Omolene 400 may be fed to replace some, or all, hay if necessary. However, you may feed along with hay and/or pasture. The product feeding rate online and also found on the feed label would be if being fed to replace all roughage in the diet.

Can this feed be used as a complete feed for a horse with Cushing's?

Asked by: 3Appy
While this is a complete diet, we suggest the traditional Equine Senior as a better option. The Equine Senior will be lower in starch and sugar percentage.
