Producer's Pride Guardian Chicken Coop, 14 Chicken Capacity

This is the best coop for the price. I do add 2x4s on top of the roost bars because I like a wider roost bar for my chickens. In the summer I put shade cloth around the run, in the winter I put up PVC corrugated roofing panels. The coop itself I put down linoleum remnant on the floor for easy clean and moisture protection. If the manufacturer could change one thing I think it would be the roost bars. Wider and a little lower. The two top ones are very high. Chickens like that but that makes them poop in the nest boxes.

Noticeable damage to box & of course i had something to say as it was being loaded by the employee just to be told, "Everything inside will be fine. They arrive like this all the time." Yeah we had chunks of the ply board missing & broken off- just like i figured when getting a damaged box with chunks of IT missing. You SEE damage to box & still push it on the customer as if all will be fine. Its $1000 & busted up before even being put together. Terrible quality if its handed to customer already damaged. We'll replace the boards ourself so its safe for the chickens but seriously- like i should have to!? Too much of a problem to return so now we know, we'll never buy from this brand again.

10/10 recommend if you have several ducks!!! I have 3 ducks and it’s a perfect amount of space for them to roam around, and was able to put a mini pool in there for them! It’s also been through 70mph winds and a hail storm. I do recommend using the planters mesh for the sides of the run, so it blocks out the sun. It makes it cooler for them in the summer time. I added a mini fan for the inside so they could get more cooler air and attached that to the two rods near the ceiling that slide in, in the coop. For the winter, it held up pretty well, and as much as I didn’t want to put a heater in there.. I did, and installed the foam insulation. I didn’t cover the insulation, which was my bad and they wouldn’t stop picking at it. But now I know to cover it with wood panels for next winter. Overall, I highly recommend. The only issue is that if you’re on the inside of the coop, make sure you prop the door open with a brick or rock. I can’t tell you how many times I got locked inside and had to crawl out the lil doggie door lol. Luckily I’m on the petite side or else I would’ve been in there for a while. I had to add a lock to that door too, because the lock on it doesn’t hold well after a while. One day it flung open during the night while I was sleeping, and didn’t notice it till the next morning. YET AGAIN, I got lucky, because my ducks are terrified of anything moving practically lol. So they didn’t run out during the night. I’d also recommend 3-4 inches deep of pea gravel in the run. I haven’t had any issues with bumble foot using it, plus it helped with making a barrier for the run sides to keep it in place!
