Designed for efficient use, this Producer's Pride Chick Brooder Lamp is designed to light 50% more area than a standard clamp light. Featuring a reinforced steel guard with a scratch-resistant steel clamp for durability, this brooder lamp also comes with a vinyl sleeve to ensure added strength and longevity. The chick brooder lamp includes an adjustable ball joint to allow versatile positioning, and it comes UL-listed for safety during use. This brooder lamp also uses a 120V, 250W type R bulb.

- A: This lamp doesn’t have thermostat to shut off after a few hours. Please see suggestions in below to check if the lamp could function well. If still doesn’t work, please check with store for product replacement. 1, To ensure the plug is connected tightly to reliable AC power source. Check to see if the light would shut off after a few hours of use. 2, Disconnect the cord plug and take off the heat bulb. Check the bottom of the lamp socket to see if the copper plate is deformed. Use screwdriver to bend the plate upwards. And then turn on the lamp to see if it will shut off after a few hours of use.Attached video for your reference in your email.2 years agoHelpful?

Simple heat lamp

Works well and I trust the brand as I've used their brooder lamps and bulbs for many years without issue. However, I was disappointed to find it does not have an on/off switch which makes it inconvenient to turn off when my chicks don't need it.
