Perfect for providing additional pipe protection. They don't have a long shelf life but they are really handy when temps drop into pipe freezing digits. So far they've saved our tushies and saved us from expensive plumbing repairs for the couple of years. And although they aren't very durable, it cheaper to replace these vs lifting the house to redo the plumbing.

Great heat production and quality is good

I used these to keep my young chicks warm during the unusually cold weather and the bulb exploded and burned down my coop and my birds. In my opinion they shouldn’t be sold anywhere near the chicken supply isles.

Product works as advertised and has lasted a good while. Produces good heat for the wattage.
