Q: are these grafted trees or are they grown from seed
a year ago- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Per the vendor, "The actual Seedling is grown from a seed, but it is only a Seedling. After the first years growth, it is then Budded at the base with the actual fruit from a Black Tartarian Cherry tree. This is where you get the Black Tartarian cherry tree! Takes 2 years to fruition and be ready to sell."a year agoHelpful?
Q: what is considered to be a co-pollinator?
a year ago- A: For optimal fruit production, the Pirtle Nursery Black Tartarian Cherry #5 Tree (a sweet cherry) needs a co-pollinator, and any other sweet cherry variety, except Lambert, Royal Ann or Napoleon, can serve as a good pollinizer.a year agoHelpful?
