- A: Our Extra Large Replacement Flap has a single magnetic strip across the bottom. However, we did have some previous models that used a flap with 4 separate magnets. This current flap would not fit any of the doors that used the previous style flap.9 years agoHelpful?

The flat does work good But only for a little while And then it gets all worked out from the weather And in the winter time with the wind it just flaps in and out and it's kind of difficult To replace A new flat

In my opinion, a new bar and screws should have been included with the flap. Disappointed.

We're so sorry for any misunderstanding- we can certainly clarify why the mounting bar is available separately.
In most situations, the flap and mounting bar do not need to be replaced at the exact same time. Having the mounting hardware parts kit available separately provides more cost effective options for our customers, as they can purchase only what they need.
If your mounting hardware has also been damaged and needs to be replaced, a parts kit including both the mounting bar and screws can be found here-

M dogs really love this door. I have a fenced in yard so they are able to go out anytime. It’s great for me too Asian leave for errands and not worry that they need to relieve themselves.

I haven’t had it long and it’s already not straight. I’ve lifted it as far as I can go. It’s not that it’s hanging down too far. It’s just not straight. It creates a curve in the middle of it. We’re mosquitoes get in which was the reason why I bought a new one because the other one was already doing that one, but it took years for it to get like that.
