This soft, tinted flap has a magnetic closure to help keep your home protected from the outdoors and replacing it is a quick and easy installation project. The only tool you need is a screwdriver. Dimensions for the medium size flap are 8 1/8 in x 12 7/8 in. It includes 4 holes at the top of the flap for adjustment. I've been buying these flaps for years. My first 2 flaps servived 2 Chow Chow's barreling through it at a high rate of speed, I would have to replace the flap every 3 or 4 years. The last several flaps last about 6 months with an older standard poodle and a moyen poodle using them. In the late spring and all summer long, the flap isn't in used since the sliding glass door never gets closed. Its fustrating, why are the tearing off to easily? I have no choice but to keep purchasing them. Grrrr
