This all-in-one solution lets you feed multiple cats or dogs at the same time with the same feeder. Inside the box you will find a meal splitter, a privacy panel and an extra stainless-steel bowl. The meal splitter snugly fits into the opening on your feeder to dispense kibble equally between each bowl. The optional privacy panel works as a barrier if you want to help bring peace to mealtime or prevent one pet from eating more than their share. The meal splitter is designed to dispense food neatly and only into your pets' bowls. The BPA-free, food-grade material is easy to clean, simply place it in the top or bottom of your dishwasher. Good concept, does not stay in place

I really love my PetSafe feeder but the splitter is a terrible design. It doesn't stay in place. It should snap in and securely stay in place but it doesn't, the only thing securing it to the hopper is the privacy divider. Two stars because so far it hasn't broken.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

Does exactly what it's supposed to do! I had a little trouble installing it initially -- it wasn't sliding into the slot quite as easily as I thought it would, and I kind of had to force it in (and was scared I'd break it because it's really just a thin piece of plastic). But after that initial bump, it works great. Works well in my two cat household.

Smart Feed Bowl Holder not included

I am glad i purchased the 2-pet meal splitter, but it did not include a bowl holder. I anchored the original bowl holder, to 1 side of the feeder, but knew what was coming next. The cat pushed the 2nd empty bowl away & the food was dispensed onto the floor. Luckily this was just one day. I just ordered a 2nd Smart Feed Replacement Bowl Holder, but feel it should have been included with the Splitter,

2 Bowls for 2 Kittens

With 2 kittens, one bowl isn't enough. I purchased the 2-Pet Splitter with Bowl to help with feedings and it works great. Well, great enough when it come to kittens. They still go from bowl to bowl eating, they're goofy that way!
