Q: is the bowl dishwasher safe

- A: The base of the Petmate 64-Cup Le Bistro Plastic Pet Waterer is dishwasher safe, but the clear plastic water bottle is not. The heat from a dishwasher can warp or damage the plastic bottle. For cleaning the bottle, it is recommended to use a bottle brush and warm, soapy water. The base and lid can be placed in the dishwasher for easy cleaning and sanitizing.4 months agoHelpful?

Q: I have an older le bistro lg bowl that came with a standard water bottle I now use a 3 gal bottle. I tried a friends newer le bistro and when it was empty my dogs destroyed the bottle; can I use a standard bottle in your current model

Don't waste your money it leaks after 5 months

Terrible! I had another one of these that was basically the same thing, same size etc for over 13 years and loved it. This one we got in September and recently it's developed a leak. Every few days I'm mopping up water. At first I thought it was put on wrong then I thought it must have a slow leak so I put a towel under it but now it's just un-usable even a towel under it isn't working. I have two big dogs that need water constantly and this was a good way to not hasn't to give them water multiple times a day now I'm on the hunt again for something, again. Don't waste your money on this one. I wish I could remember where I got my old one.

CHEAP HORRIBLE DESIGN

I bought 2 of these hoping to keep my animals watered! The bowl area is designed is 2 seperate parts where water gets through cracks. There is no way to empty or clean the area and it mildews inside of it. Also when refilled, the jug creates a suction and creases the jug eventually causing it the crack causing it not to work properly.
No, I do not recommend this product.
