Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good product - poor bottle design - poor application I purchased 3 bottles of Ortho Weed B Gone Plus Crabgrass Control. The first bottle worked as directed with near immediate results, however I had problems with both the 2nd and 3rd bottles. After covering an area of approximately 5000 square feet I noticed the bottle was still full of product and that some of the product was trickling out of the connection where the orange handle attaches to the green bottle. I doubled checked to see that I had the selector in the correct position. I gave up on that bottle and switched to the third bottle with the same poor results. Later and with much difficulty I transferred the product to another bottle (older Ortho bottle design) and applied the product with no problem. I’m not interested in getting my money back - I JUST WANT YOU TO FIX THE DESIGN - please.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I've used this twice when there has been no rain. Once with wet leaves. Next time without wetting the leaves. Nothing has happened to the crabgrass This product used correctly, right temperature, no wind, no rain, on crabgrass and clover killed nothing. And the area I sprayed over and over is small. Way less then 5000 sq. feet. And nothing. I think it helps the crabgrass grow more. I have also used Weed and Feed by Scotts, Ortho weed b gone spray and this product twice. Still tons of crabgrass. I won't be using any of these again.

Will this product kill large well-established crabgrass plants. If yes what concentrate to use with a hose sprayer?

What time of year is best to use it? Is July too late>

Asked by: Clever
This product can be used any time weeds are actively growing, but should not be used more than twice per year. For best results use when daytime temperatures are above 45°F and below 90°F.
