- A: Ground Work Poison Ivy & Brush Killer is not labeled for pasture use or in areas where livestock graze. As an off-label application, the applicator would have to wait 30 days before returning grazing animals to the treated area. A better alternative is Gordon's Brush Killer for Large Property that allows for grazing animals return to treated areas once the spray has dried. This includes horses, cows, goats and sheep. I bought this specifically for poison ivy. Mixed 6oz per gallon with some Dawn liquid and it really did well. It seemed to take a few days before starting to kill, and right when I thought I’d wasted my money on thus stuff the poison ivy started turning colors and curling up. Does not kill the crabgrass coming up in the cracks of my driveway, but that was not my purpose. Worked well for me!

I am a landscape business owner. This products main ingredient is 2-4d which will kill everything except grass and grassy weeds. If you need to kill grassy weeds mixed with other weeds you need a product that's main ingredient is glyphosate. That's the main ingredient that's in round up. This product will work but there are better ones at tractor supply. You just have to mix it properly. Maybe a little more than recommended and know what this product is tagets.

I sprayed this per the instructions at the strongest strength, 4.6 ounces per gallon. No results at all. Everything is still green and growing.
