Q: How much sand do you put in a 24 x52 in roller

1 Answer
  • A: Approximately 21 of the 80 lb bags of sand will fit in this lawn roller. That is likely to be too much weight for the drawbar as it is rated to 920 lbs (normal weight with water), so be careful how much sand you add.

Junk

Junk dont buy it,not worth it. One of the main things is the brilliant idea to use only a rubber stopper to hold back water. Not secure and pops right out, there goes all your water. Must have a threaded cap with o ring. Junk

Exactly what I expected

Exactly as shown. It would be nice that in addition to the fill/drain plug the drum had a vent plug to speed draining of the drum. I would still recommend as the price and quality are exceptional.

Outstanding Roller

This roller is sturdy, well made and heavy when filled. It will definetily smooth out what ever your rolling. I would not pull it with a lawn tractor, filled with water it is quite heavy, I use my compact tractor to pull it.
