I’m not sure if the company changed the formulation but the spikes were rubbery and had a bumpy texture. I hope they work but I’m disappointed so far.

To apply the spikes, use the Miracle Aerator to create a hole in the moist soil. Insert the houseplant spikes halfway between the plant stem and the edge of the pot, making sure they are covered with soil. The number of spikes you'll need depends on the size of your pot. Terrific Growth.

I know nothing about plants but received 4 of them as Christmas presents over the years. I just water them once a week and add Miracle - Gro sticks monthly and they are growing terrific.
