I plant vegetables in containers and this is needed for planting. Can't wait for the new store to open @ 2 miles from home. Love tractor supply stores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stuff! I love this stuff! The first plants I started out with were hydrangeas but they weren't getting that lush blue coloring that I was hoping for. When I found out that the ph level was over 7 I started using this product and now they are back to normal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greenest lawn on block and multiple roses I live in an area that is VERY high in alkali. I love my yard and even thought I am only a renter I want the best looking yard. When I originally moved in everything was dead, the house had been a foreclosure so it was start from scratch. I aerated and thatched the lawn and put on gypsum and lime. The grass was a cheap brand of rolls put down when the owner bought the house. It helped but the grass was such a poor quality that it greened but looked like what it was -cheap grass, It's been 2 years since I moved in but after thatching 3 times, aerating 5 times, seeding with bluegrass I have a lush lawn. Each time I aerated, thatched, or seeded I did the aeration. My soil is beautiful and now I'm forced to use rabbit repellant because the rabbits choose my lawn. I also use the gypsum and lime when I plant or rototill and my soil is perfect for planting. Wherever I haven't done these things it's just hardpan and to get down 2 feet takes digging and watering up to four days.

What is the lime zone rating, is it superfine 100

We are not familiar with “Superfine 100” - sounds like somebody’s product designation. But what we can tell you is this product is classified as “Fine Pulverized” and > 70% of it passes a 100 mesh screen.

can this be mixed in water and sprayed on

We wouldn't recommend mixing with water to spray as this will cause clumping.

It will not work as a substitute for hydrated lime. It has no caustic features.

It is a flour like consistency, and must be spread with a drop type spreader rather than a rotary broadcast spreader.
