This kit comes with an MM572W Heavy Duty Dual Swing Gate Opener that is designed for gates up to 18 ft. long or 850 lbs., per gate leaf. It's the ideal heavy duty single gate opener combo kit for all types of gates, including: tube, chain link, panel, vinyl, wood, and ornamental. In addition to the gate opener this gate opener kit also includes: an entry/exit remote, a digital keypad, a digital keypad mounting post, a wireless connectivity system, and a wireless gate opening sensor.

- This heavy duty smart ready gate opener kit can control and monitor your gate from anywhere, on any smart device. Utilizing the included wireless connectivity system and the free Mighty Mule app.

Q: Can this kit be hard wired? How does the battery get recharged? Does it come with a solar kit as well?

- A: Mighty Mule Gate Operators are low voltage. You can hardwire the transformer that comes with the kit to recharge the 12V battery or batteries. You can also add a FM123 or FM125 Solar Panel to keep the batteries charged as well. Nothing has worked out if the box. It’s easy to install, but I had to call customer service to get them to fix the controller. The customer service rep was very helpful, but it took him a while to get it to work. The instructions seem to be for an older unit and not up to date. The instructions for the wireless exit sensor are not correct and will not work if you follow them. Still not able to get the MMS100 wireless system to connect to the internet. However, I should say that once getting through the initial set up the gate opener has worked perfectly. It’s just not a “plug and play” system and may take you a couple of calls to their tech support.
